After a particularly stressful day at the office, Miriam decided she needed some time to relax. Thus, she had made her way over to the shopping district on her way home. She'd already been through three stores and hadn't found one item she liked. Everything fit wrong, or wasn't the right colour, or just plain old didn't look good. Despite her venture being less than successful, Miriam could already feel the day's tension releasing. She loved her job, she really did. It just wasn't an easy or low-stress job. It didn't really offer the greatest work environment usually either. It was a cut throat business to say the least. Thankfully, Miriam had no problem getting her hands dirty. If it was otherwise she probably wouldn't be the COO of Kronos Inc., one of the fastest growing technology based businesses in the States. The blonde female was quite proud of her achievement, but she was by no means where she wanted to be. Her goal was CEO. She wasn't really sure how she was going to go about reaching said goal however. Not to mention, she had a great deal of respect for the current CEO and didn't really want to undermine him. Miriam was hoping he might retire, or move on to another company. Then she could get the job she wanted without too much hassle.
As she entered yet another store, Miriam pushed all thoughts of work away. She was shopping, no need to get all worked up about her job. She'd have plenty of time to work things out later. At that moment it was relaxing time. Making her way to a rack of dresses, Miriam began browsing the selection. A nice simple black dress stood out to her, but she already had more than enough black dresses. No need for another. She did need a new blazer however. With that the female was off to a different section of the store. Hopefully she might finally find something nice. It would be so disappointing if her whole trip was a waste. She didn't have much time left either, all the stores would be closing in an hour or so.
